FMX 2024: CONNECTING IDEAS

Anticipate engaging discussions about the proliferation of sharing platforms, open standards, and recent initiatives that have emerged. Sol Rogers Takes the Helm as Program Chair

This year, Salomon Rogers, the Global Director of Innovation at Magnopus, assumes the role of program chair. With his international connections and insights, Rogers will work alongside the FMX team to provide valuable information and inspiration to address the evolving landscape of the creative industries.

Rogers expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “I’m deeply honored and excited to serve as the Program Chair for FMX 2024. Drawing from my years of experience attending the event and my passion for innovation, I am eager to curate a dynamic lineup of participants and discussions that align with our ‘Bridging Creativity’ theme.”

Rogers, who founded the UK-based immersive spatial design and innovation company Rewind in 2014, served as CEO until its acquisition by Magnopus in 2021. Magnopus, established in 2013 by Oscar winners Ben Grossmann and Alex Henning (Hugo), is an industry pioneer renowned for its Emmy-nominated VR projects and its leadership in virtual production, notably its contributions to Disney’s “The Lion King” (2019) and its role in shaping the spatial web.

In addition to his role at FMX, Rogers also serves as the Chairman of BAFTA’s Immersive Entertainment Advisory Group and Immerse U.K., the first nationwide network for immersive companies dedicated to promoting the UK as a global leader in immersive technologies.
